The task consists of surveying seven plots in the Mbezi-Msumi area. Our team performed reconnaissance for data search and other

information, which also consisted of discussion and permission from local authorities to allow the land surveying task at their

location, and to ensure boundaries between the client and neighbours, to avoid any future conflicts. The task consists of several

procedures

1.) Request for survey instructions - Whereby we obtained survey instructions for this task from Marijani Makwaba, Authorised land

officer - From the Director of Survey & Mapping.

2.) Control surveying - From this part, we used Taref control points ( UBG17 and UBG18) for the datum check.

3.) Plot demarcation - Coordinates extracted from the TP drawing were stacked out by using differential GPS Hi target v200, Datum

was in situ; demarcation was done according to the TP drawings.

4) Beacon erection - Beacons (03AHU961 - 03AHU979) were erected according to the survey regulations and

coordinated using RTK GPS.

5) Data was processed using ArcGIS and AutoCAD software to produce a survey plan as well as shapefiles. A technical report was

prepared and submitted to the Director of Surveying and Mapping for Approval

6) Technical personnel involved were: Surv.Hassan Ismail - Licensed surveyor, Surv. Twalibu Munisi - Graduate Surveyor, Abdallah

ibrahim - Cartographer.
