TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY FOR NYAKANAZI 400/220 KV SUBSTATION (TANESCO)

The topographical survey conducted at the Nyakanazi Substation area in the Kagera Region of Tanzania. The project involves the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of the New 400/132/33kV Kigoma (Kidahwe) Substation, as well as the Extension of the 400/200kV Nyakanazi Substation.

Recafi Investment Company Limited (RECAFICO) was subcontracted to perform the topographical survey for the Nyakanazi Substation extension in support of the proposed project. Leading the survey team were Licensed Surveyor Lwijiso Ngulwa, Registered Surveyor Hassan Ismail, and assistant surveyor Jairiso Ulema. The survey aimed to analyse the terrain of the project site, identifying key points, lines, and areas (polygons) crucial for the project's design and implementation.

The topographical survey involve control survey, spot height measurement and detail survey.
